I'm a lifelong friend and listener. My favorite thing to do is take a long hike and soak in a good chat with someone I love.
My earliest memories are wandering farmer's fields, quiet with the sun. I was born in rural Ontario to American immigrants. Grew up in downtown Toronto in the 80s, when every alleyway was a private kid universe. Went to an amazing alternative high school called SEED where we made rules by consensus. Got a BFA in Film & Television from NYU, made a few experimental films, shown internationally, including New York City, Dublin, Luxor and St. Petersburg. My writing has been published in chapbooks, anthologies and magazines like Psychology Tomorrow Magazine.
I worked for a couple decades in corporate Manhattan, found another chance at life in Montreal. Now I'm back in university at midlife, studying to become a licensed psychologist.
